Not for a pause or a second; just yak, yak, yak.. her experiences, her history, things she had done, a sort of one-sided conversation with the guy near her (passenger) where she had been, on and on. At one point we were on a road above some marshy land and bayous, and it was pouring rain, so hard that you could not see three feet in front of the van...fog, slushy rain; really slippery dangerous…”
